Learn how to make a beautiful stained glass window for your miniature scenes, dolls house and dioramas using polymer clay.

Candy Chappill continues her polymer clay garden series with this delightful little window with a stained glass effect achieved in just four simple steps.

You will need

  • Cernit clay
  • Spacers 3mm
  • Roller
  • Acetate
  • Silhouette stickers
  • Scissors
  • Pebeo glass paint
  • Paint brush
  • Glue

Method

1. Roll out your Cernit clay 3mm thick, and carefully cut out a window frame shape. Bake and then refine any rough edges with some sand paper.

2. Cut a piece of acetate to the same size as your window. Using some silhouette stickers, arrange a nice window scene.

3. Using some Pebeo glass paint, fill in your silhouette stickers. Leave to dry overnight.

4. Once your paint is dry, glue your window frame onto the acetate.
