Enjoy lunch by the sea in the next part of our miniature beach series, with this easy-to-follow miniature fish and chips tutorial by Candy Chappill.

What better grub to eat on your gorgeous picnic bench whilst at the beach… fish and chips of course!

DIY miniature fish and chips tutorial

You will need:

  • Polymer clay
  • Spacers 3mm
  • Spacers 1.5mm
  • Baking method
  • Roller
  • Tissue blade
  • Needle
  • Sand paper

Instructions

1. Roll out some yellow polymer clay 3mm thick, and using your tissue blade, cut little rectangles, which will make your chips.

2. Roll out some blue polymer clay 1.5mm thick, and using the template, cut around the plate shape using a needle.

3. Roll out some beige polymer clay 1.5mm thick, and using the template and your needle, cut around the fish.

4. Bake all your polymer pieces, I baked mine in an oven at 130ºC for 30 minutes. Once baked, refine any rough edges using some sand paper and arrange.
