'Thank you' card

Marble effect 'Thank You' card

What do I need?

  • Making Cards Craft Paper Collection 
  • Alphabet Stamp Set by Making Cards
  • White card
  • Gold and beige pearlescent card
  • Gold mirri card
  • Gold Candi
  • Blue inkpad 
  • Gold fine line pen

Instructions

  1. Create a 15cm square white card blank with the fold at the top. Cut gold and white marble paper to 13cm square and double mount on beige then gold pearlescent card, leaving a thin border each time. Attach to the card front.
  2. Cut a further piece of gold and white marble paper 14x6cm and mount on gold pearlescent card. Fix across the centre of the card front.
  3. Cut out a topper from the bonus paper and mount on gold pearlescent card. Attach horizontally to the middle of the card front using foam pads. Cut out a second topper from the bonus paper, mount on beige pearlescent card and fix over the top of the previous topper, placing vertically.
  4. Cut a 2x10cm strip of white card and trim a ‘v’ into the short sides to create a banner shape. Stamp ‘thank you’ in the centre using your free blue ink. Add a border of dashes along each side then mount on gold mirri card. Fix just the left and right sides over the toppers on the card front.
  5. Finish by adding gold Candi to each corner of the card front.

Top tip! You could also use the papers to create gift tags!


'Congratulations' card

What do I need?

  • Making Cards Craft Paper Collection 
  • Alphabet Stamp Set by Making Cards
  • White, black & pale pink card
  • Pink inkpad free
  • Gold sequins
  • Black Candi
  • Black fine line pen

Instructions

  1. Create a 12.5x17.5cm white card blank. Cut white marble paper to 11.5x16.5cm and mount on black card, leaving a thin border around each side. Fix to the card front.
  2. Cut white and gold marble paper to12x5.5cm and mount. Fix across the middle of the card front.
  3. Cut out the topper and mount on pale pink card. Attach to the centre of the card front with foam pads.
  4. Cut a 2x10.5cm strip of white card and trim a ‘v’ shape into each short edge to create a banner. Use pink ink to stamp the letters to spell ‘Congratulations’ in the centre. Add a border of dashes along the edges and fix just the left and right sides over the topper. Add black Candi either side of the banner.
  5. Add a cascade of gold sequins down the card front.

'With love' card

What do I need?

  • Making Cards Craft Paper Collection 
  • Alphabet Stamp Set by Making Cards
  • White, black & pale pink card
  • Copper metallic card
  • Onyx Black VersaFine inkpad
  • Clear adhesive gems

Instructions

  1. Create a 12x15cm white card blank with the fold at the top. Cut white marble paper to 10.5x13.5cm and double mount on copper card, followed by black card, each time leaving a thin border. Fix to the card front.
  2. Cut a 10.5x3cm strip of black marble paper and attach across the centre of the card front.
  3. Cut a further piece of the white marble paper to 8.5x13.5cm and mount on copper card. Attach to the card front, overhanging the top edge a little.
  4. Cut out a topper and stamp letters to spell ‘with love’ in the centre with black ink. Mount on pale pink card and fix to the panel on the card front with foam pads.
  5. Finish by adding clear gems to the topper.

'Happy New Year' card

What do I need?

  • Making Cards Craft Paper Collection 
  • Alphabet Stamp Set by Making Cards
  • White & black card
  • Gold mirri card
  • Onyx Black VersaFine inkpad
  • Pink organza ribbon
  • White seam binding
  • Pale pink adhesive gems
  • Pink Candi
  • Black rhinestone

Instructions

  1. Create a 15cm square white card blank with the fold at the top. Cut black marble paper to 13.5cm square and double mount on black card followed by gold mirri card, leaving a border each time. Fix to the card front.
  2. Cut a 12.5x2cm strip of white marble paper. Double mount on black marble paper, followed by gold mirri card. Attach horizontally across the centre of the card front.
  3. Cut out a topper and mount on black card. Use black ink to stamp letters to spell ‘Happy New Year’ in the centre. Fix to the right of the strip with foam pads. Add pale pink gems either side.
  4. Make a white seam binding bow and attach to the left of the topper. Tie a second double bow from pink organza ribbon and fix in the centre of the white bow. Add a black rhinestone to the centre of the bows.
  5. Finish by adding pink Candi to each corner of the card front.
