'Love you more' card tutorial

Love you more card

You will need

  • White card
  • Die-cutting machine
  • Tuxedo Black Memento inkpad
  • Alcohol marker pens of your choice
  • Double-sided patterned paper of your choice
  • Stargazer Backdrop die, Hootiful stamps & dies, Whatcha Saying stamps & dies & Stitched Circle dies by Heffy Doodle

Instructions

  1. Create a 10.8x14cm white card blank.
  2. Trim a patterned paper of your choice to 10.8x14cm.
  3. Use the Stargazer die to die-cut white card, then use a circle die to cut an aperture on both this and the patterned paper panel, making sure they are aligned.
  4. Adhere the patterned paper to the card front. Flip the die-cut circle over to reveal the other side (plain or patterned) and stick inside the aperture.
  5. Use foam pads to attach the white star panel on top.
  6. Stamp, colour and die-cut the owls from the Hootiful stamp set. Cut the Mummy owl’s wing to extend it so it is long enough to give her baby a cuddle when positioned at the bottom of the aperture. Adhere in place.
  7. Stamp the sentiment from the Whatcha Saying stamp set on white card and cut out. Adhere the sentiment to the top right of the aperture with foam pads.
