Boost your backgrounds when card making with this quick and easy technique tutorial
We're back with another brilliant background technique tutorial! This time, we're looking at how to create an inky background with Distress oxide. Whether you're looking for moody and mysterious or bright and beautiful, there's thousands of choices of colour to chose from out there. With our quick and easy tutorial, you'll pick up this technique in no time and be able to create countless background designs! Distress ink oxide background
Step 1 Choose your inks. Either brushes or blending tools can be used to add the ink to the card. Use the lightest first.
Step 2 Apply to your card using circular motions.
Step 3 Apply three patches of the colour
Step 4 Apply the second colour, ensuring you overlap the colours to blend them and leave no harsh lines.
Step 5 Apply the third colour and blend well. Apply more of the lightest colour if you desire.
