Colouring expert, Faye Wynn-Jones demonstrates an idea using the 'embroiderer' digi stamp download from the 'hobbies & careers' series and Copic marker pens. 

How do I make it?

• White card
• Copic marker pens (see guide below) 
• White gel pen
• Purple fine-liner pen
• Cheesecloth
• Paper distressing tool
• Double-sided tape
• Foam tape
• Honey Bee Stamps Playful Pastels Paper Pad
• Whimsy Stamps Spring Ovals Die Set

Guide to using Copic marker pens: 

Skin: E21, E11 (both ciao), E13 (sketch) E71 (ciao)
Hair: N3, N5, N7, N9 (all sketch)
Lilac: V0000 (sketch), V000, V01 (both ciao)
Purple: V01, V12, V15 (all ciao)
Green: YG11, G21, YG63 (all ciao)

How do I make it?

1 Resize digital image to measure 4.5cm wide and print on white card.
2 Colour the image using the copics listed, then add a floral pattern to the skirt with a white gel pen and purple fine-liner, as shown.
3 Trim around the edge of the image, leaving a narrow border.
4 Create a rectangle top folding white card, measuring 11cm wide by 13.5cm high.
5 Cut a piece of patterned paper to measure 11cm wide by 13.5cm high and distress the edges and attach to the card front.
6 Die-cut the floral oval from the die set from white card and attach a small piece of cheesecloth to the back.
7 Mount the die cut panel to the centre of the card front with foam tape.
8 Finally, attach the image to the card front with foam tape, as shown.
