Hobbies & careers... Home worker!

Colouring expert, Faye Wynn-Jones demonstrates an idea using the 'home worker' digi stamp download from our 'hobbies & careers' series and Copic marker pens. 

What do I need? 

• White card
• Copic marker pens
• Black ink pad
• Bandana paper pack by Whimsy Stamps
• Handwritten Thank You Sentiments clear stamp set by Catherine Pooler

Guide to using Copic maker pens:

• Skin: E00, E21, E11, BV31 (all Ciao)
• Hair/desk/chair handle/pen: C5, C7 (both Ciao), C9 (Sketch)
• Eyes/paper: C0, C1 (both Ciao)
• Light blue: B0000 (Sketch), B000, B00 (both Ciao)
• Blue: B02 (Ciao), B04, B06 (both Sketch)

How do I make it?

1 Resize the digital image to measure 7.5cm high and print on white card. 
2 Colour the image using the Copic marker pens listed or choose your own colour combinations!
3 Cut the base of image panel to measure 10.5x4.5cm high on the left side and 6cm high on the right side.
4 Trim around the top part of the image, leaving a narrow border.
5 Create a 10.5x13cm top folding white card.
6 Cut patterned paper to 10.5x9.5cm high and attach to the top of the card blank. 
7 Stamp the sentiment in black ink on the image panel, as shown. 
8 Mount the image panel to the card base, with double-sided tape at the base and foam pads behind the head to finish.
