Technique focus: How to create a night sky using inks and watercolours

Night skies and galaxy backgrounds are on trend in papercraft, art and cardmaking right now as well as featuring on interior and fashion trends. Following our simple 3 step guide, you can create your perfect night sky using just water and dark watercolour inks. Technique focus: how to create a night sky

 

1 Spritz white watercolour card with water.

2 Add your selection of dark coloured inks.

3 When happy with the coverage allow to dry (you could use a heat tool to do this) then flick a little white paint over the card.
