Petals and Paws: FREE Projects From Our August Issue

Welcome to part two of our free projects from the August issue! Here are some extra ideas of what cards you can create using your Petals & Paws A4 papers, featuring beautifully handpainted woodland animals in muted tones! What do I need?

Petals & Paws Craft Paper Collection

White, purple & dark blue card

Circle dies

Die-cutting machine

Mustard ribbon

Create a 14cm white circle card blank. Cut a 13.5cm circle from balloon paper and layer on purple card. Adhere to the card front. Cut a 13.5x1.5cm strip of purple card, wrap with mustard ribbon and secure with a bow on the right. Attach across the centre of the card front. Cut out topper using an 8.5cm circle die and adhere to a slightly larger circle from dark blue card. Layer again on a slightly larger circle of purple card and attach to the left of the card front using foam pads. Add a circle sentiment using foam pads to the top right corner.

What do I need?

White, bronze & light blue card

Red buttons

Twine

Create a 13x18cm white card blank. Cut light blue card to 12.5x17.5cm, mount on bronze card and attach to the card front. Cut patterned paper to 10.5x8.5cm and 10.5x6cm and mount on bronze card. Adhere to the top and bottom of the card front. Trim a tall topper to 5.5x14cm and mount on bronze card. Attach to the left of the card front using foam pads. Mount a sentiment on bronze card and fix to the bottom right of the card front using foam pads. Add three orange buttons tied with twine to the top left of the card front.

What do I need?

Yellow & dark blue card

Create a 15.5cm square white card blank. Cut large balloon paper to 15cm square, mount on yellow card and fix to the card front. Cut a 10.5cm square of white balloon paper, mount on yellow card and adhere to the bottom right of the card front. Cut a 3x15cm strip of yellow card and attach across the centre of the card front. Trim topper to 9.5cm square and double mount on dark blue followed by yellow card. Attach to the top left of the card front using foam pads. Double mount a sentiment in the same way and fix to the bottom right corner with foam pads.
