You many remember in our June issue we interviewed Eleanor Stevens of In Wonderland Miniatures. Eleanor has just invested in a mirco wood lathe and took time out to tell us how she was getting on with it, what chisels she was using to compliment the lathe and how the occasional mishap reassured her that she is only human. Well as you've probably heard countless times, practice makes perfect and it's true as Eleanor's submitted her first preojct to DHMS. Working with her micro-lathe she's used a mahognay bobbin blank to create a Victorian bed post.
With Halloween only a few weeks away, Jane Kusbiesa investigates the paranormal and all things that go bump in the night, Bea Broadwood explains how all of her best ideas come via her sketchpad and introduces us to Raven's Perch which launches at Miniatura, and we've included a selection of spooky images on our cut outs page.
