This lovely little shop could be a perfect wedding dress boutique, just the ticket for the bride selecting a dress for her spring wedding. Imagine it full of pretty white gowns, satin shoes, and delicate tiaras and a whole host of bridal accessories.
Sold by the Dolls House Emporium (DHE), the Streets Ahead gallery is a really troublefree build. It comes with pre-assembled front and side panels, and the little wooden pegs are a great help when assembling. DHE sell all manner of dolls house kits in 1/24th and
1/12th scale, but I especially love the smaller buildings like this because they take up little space, are quick and easy to build, and competitively priced too.
Including time for painting and decorating, the kit can be completed in a weekend. It comes with all the glazing (including a glazed roof that lets in a great deal of natural light) and even door handles. All you’ll need is glue and your choice of paint.
If a wedding gown shop doesn’t float your boat, this little building would lend itself well to an orangery, a picture gallery or a small café.
