October is finally here! With the long hot summer firmly behind us and the busiest time for card making just round the corner, take a break from the rush to create a card for those who are celebrating during autumn. Based around pencil colouring, a project by Judith Maslen demonstrates how effective pencils can be. Entitled The Spirit of Autumn (page 16), the completed card comes complete with a step by step guide showing how you should be applying the colour and what shades of colour you should be achieving.
This month also sees the start of our Christmas collection for 2018, and I’m pleased to present to you a projects to get you started, Door to Door by Lesley Shore on page 24, and if it’s whet your appetite for more, make sure you pick up next month’s issue where you’ll find a magazine chock-a-block with seasonal cards and designs.
