What's in this Issue?

First up with have Under the Sea, a beautiful set of illustrations featuring sea creatures in pastel colour that would be perfect for welcoming a new little one into the world! Secondly, we have Summer Scenes, lots of bright colours in abstract patterns that you can use to create your own toppers, embellishments and backgrounds! We can’t wait to see what you come up with when using them for yourself, or you can use the projects provided as your inspiration to get you started.

With the children off school for the summer holidays, we have some projects that you might like them to help you with to keep them entertained for a little while, or of course save the ideas for your own enjoyment! On page 32, Sue Hastead creates inky backgrounds using Crafter’s Companion’s sparkle pens with a spritz of water – see how the inks blend with the water and all the different results you can make! Cheryl Morgan gets creative with Cosmic Shimmer Shakers on page 36, where she shows different ways of using them to make a background or a topper – be versatile with your artwork!

Speaking of which, we really like to make sure you get the most out of your craft stash – your money’s worth! So turn to page 34 for Debbie Von Grabler-Crozier’s take on using dies in different ways other than what they are meant to be – she uses a label dies and turns it into a Japanese lantern… it’ll make you look at your dies differently from now on!
