The first card can only be described as a showstopper, a piece of white work that you have to make time to create and which has been finished off with a working clock mechanism! The second is a vintage car design. It combines white work detailing with colour, and is stunning. I’m really looking forward to seeing your re-creations on social media (don’t forget to use the hashtag #parchmentcraftmagazine).
Still on the subject of Father’s Day and cards for men, I have chosen two cards by Tina Cox for inclusion on the From the Archives page that are for men plus
you will fi nd a selection of bonus male themed patterns and a male focussed shopping page.
Also inside this month’s issue, you will fi nd fl oral themed cards, part two of Judith Maslen’s workshop explaining how to apply colour on parchment, a card celebrating exam success, plus much more. My favourite piece of work is a coloured blue tit, combining colour with white work detailing, the lace work pattern and bird
element are beautiful and can be used time and time again.
Enjoy the issue!
