During the webinar, Alison will demonstrate and talk you through creating the reindeer and flower Christmas cards. Every aspect of creating the cards will be shown from beginning to end, and Alison will give hints and tips, explain the different products, and offer alternatives if available. Following the webinar, you will be sent a link via email, to view Alison's patterns and suggested materials list, along with the webinar recording, so you can create the cards too!

Follow-up workshop*

Friday 19th November at 3pm

Everyone who registers for the live webinar on 9th November, will be invited to join us for a follow-up workshop where you will be able to get involved and have a live discussion with Alison and your fellow attendees. In this informal session, Alison will be able to see you and speak directly to you. You will have the opportunity to show your cards that you've created following the live webinar, and to ask questions about anything that arose during the cardmaking or general parchment craft. 

*Please note: to participate in the workshop, you will need a camera and/or a microphone in your device that you're joining on. This will be an informal session where everyone will be able to join in on the discussion and ask questions, but you're not required to if you would prefer not to speak live.

  • The webinar will take place online (Zoom) and will last for approximately 60 minutes including a Q&A session (these are approximate timings and may vary slightly). The workshop will take place online (Zoom) and will last for approximately 30 minutes - you will have video and/or audio during this participation session.
  • Once you have registered for the webinar, you'll receive an email confirmation containing your link to join the webinar on the day. You will receive a link to join the workshop via email, the day after the live webinar.
  • During the webinar, you'll have the opportunity to submit your questions and chat with fellow attendees using the Q&A and 'chat' buttons at the bottom of your screen. During the workshop on 19th November, you will have access to video and/or audio as this will be a participation session.
  • The webinar on 9th November will be recorded and will be made available to all registered attendees for a limited time following the live webinar.

Alison Yeates

Alison Yeates first started parchment craft in 1993 and became hooked after trying parchment craft for the first time. Alison was self-taught until she later signed up for a teachers course and has been teaching and demonstrating the craft ever since. Alison runs regular zoom classes and has run regular residential courses. Alison also featured on Channel 4's Kirstie's Handmade Christmas In November/December 2020.
